We previously posted about how the transition to Alberta Precision Laboratories and integration of laboratory information services would entail new provider, practice and possibly location identifiers for physicians ordering investigations in settings where Connect Care is not the record of care.
Letters to implicated practitioners are mailed, with priority to the >5,400 active prescribers. A remaining ~3,000 letters are undergoing final checks of continued activity in the Province.
Physicians should receive soon.
